Tom Som Pla Kra-Phong (Sweet and Sour Soup with B

Ingredients

  • 300 gms. sea bass, sliced
  • 20 gms. ginger, sliced
  • 2 pcs. chili (big) sliced
  • 10 gms. coriander leaves
  • 50 gms. palm sugar
  • 50 ml. tamarind juice
  • 50 ml. fish sauce
  • 11 ml. fish stock
  • 10 gms. spring onion
  • 20 gms. shallot
  • 20 gms. pepper seeds
  • 10 gms. ginger
  • 10 gms. shrimp paste

Instructions

  1. Mix the shallot, pepper seeds and shrimp paste together; set aside.
  2. Cut the sea bass into 40 gms. pieces; set aside.
  3. Boil the stock, add the shrimp paste, ingredients and seasoning with fish sauce, palm sugar and tamarind sauce.
  4. Then add the sliced ginger and sea bass until cooked.
  5. Add the chili, spring onion and coriander leaves before serving.
  6. Serves 5.
