Ingredients
- 48 oz. canned tomato juice
- 1 pc. bay leaf
- 6 pcs. whole cloves
- 4 cubes beef bouillon
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsps. sugar
- 1 cup chilli sauce
- 4 cups hot water
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried leaf basil
- 1/8 tsp. tobasco
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except tobasco and lemon juice in saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn down heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain. Return to saucepan, add tabasco and lemon juice and heat just to boiling point. Serve in soup cups or mugs.
