Ingredients
- 1 bundle kankong
- 1 egg
- 1 cup ice-cold water
- 1 1/2 cups cornstarch
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Remove leaves from the stems of the kangkong.
- Wash and dry.
- In a bowl, lightly beat the egg then add the ice-cold water, cornstarch, flour, salt and pepper.
- Mix well.
- Heat oil for frying.
- Deep kangkong in batter then drop into the hot oil.
- Deep fry until crisp and golden brown.
- Drain.
