Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/ cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsps. baking soda
Instructions
- Mix margarine, peanut butter, sugar and egg thoroughly. Blend all dry ingredients together into margarine mixture. Chill dough. Roll dough into 1 inch ball. Place 2 inches apart in a greased baking sheet. Flatten criscross style with fork dipped in flour. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees F. Makes about 4 dozens.
