Mock Egg Cutlets

fried cutlets made with tofu and soy milk to immitate egg based cutlets subtituted with tofu for those allergic or cannot eat eggs.

Ingredients

  • ½ Kilo of tofu
  • 1 cup soy milk or pure evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • Breading meal

Instructions

  1. Make very thick sauce of milk, salt, flour and margarine. Add scrambled tofu.
  2. Place in refrigerator to chill. When cold, mold, dip in breading meal and deep fry until brown.
  3. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
