Ingredients
- 1 medium-sized patola, sliced diagonally
- 1/2 tbsp garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup shrimps, shelled and halved
- 4 cups broth
- salt to taste
- white pepper to taste
- oil for sauteing
Instructions
- In a saucepan, saute garlic and onion.
- Add shrimps and sliced patola. Pour in broth. Allow to boil.
- Season with salt and white pepper. Add misua and cook for 2-3 minutes.

works great – i just first let the patola boil out it’s own water for intense flavor – got the tip from my bicolanian aunt – glad you have this recipe – first time misua in over 20 years
