Shrimp Recipes

Ginataang Hipon Na Walang Gata

Ingredients

  • A medium sized onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • three slivers of fresh ginger
  • olive oil
  • cilantro
  • a cup of milk or cream or full cream milk
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. frozen cooked shrimps with the tail on, thawed
  2. Rub salt on thawed shrimp, set aside.
  3. In a pan, saute onion, garlic and ginger until onion turns transparent. Add milk and boil for 5 – 15 minutes to reduce the volume to about half. Once you have reduced the milk, add the shrimps. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes (only a few minutes since the shrimps are already pre-cooked).
  4. Salt and pepper to taste
