Chili Con Carne

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo ground beef
  • 1 large can pork and beans, drained
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium-sized can tomato sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1-2 tbsp chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a pan, cook ground beef over medium heat. Sprinkle water on the meat so it doesn;t scorch. Add bell pepper and onion. Continue cooking until the meat is tender.
  2. Add bay leaf, chili powder, tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add pork and beans. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
