Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Yeast
- 3/4 cup Lukewarm water
- 3/4 cup Evaporated Milk
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 pcs Whole eggs
- 1/2 cup Margarine
- 5-6 cups All purpose flour divided Milk or egg for brushing
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Let rest for 10 minutes. Add sugar, milk, salt, melted margarine and beaten eggs. Add 1 cup flour and mix. Set aside until foamy.
- Add 4 cups of flour and mix well. Knead until smooth and elastic. Use rest of flour for dusting while kneading. Place in greased bowl and cover. Let rise for 1 hour or until double in size. Punch down.
- Divide into 60 balls (25 grams each) flatten and add strips of cheese. Roll.
- Place in grease baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes or until double. Brush with egg or milk mixture. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
