Ingredients
- 1 kilo beef tenderloin
- 1 1/2 heads garlic, crushed (reserved half)
- 2-3 tablespoons liquid seasoning
- 1/2 cup olive oil, divided
- salt and pepper
- 5 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- Cut beef into 2 inch cubes. In a medium bowl, mix half of the crushed garlic and liquid seasoning. Add beef and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat half of the olive oil and fry remaining garlic until golden brown and crispy. Remove from pan and reserve oil.
- In same pan, reheat oil and stir fry the beef until of desired doneness (about 1 1/2 minutes for rare, 4 minutes for medium) Season with salt and pepper. Placed cooked beef on a serving plate. Sprinkle with fried garlic. Set aside.
- Scrape off any sediment from the skillet. Pour remaining 1/4 cup oil into skillet and heat until hot. Add rice and stir fry until rice is lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Transfer to a serving platter. Serve with the beef
